DC DRIVES has been the core business of AUTO POWER
since 1990. A team of technocrats having relevant
experience Spanning more than a decade and a half manages it.
Since
its foundation in 1990, AUTO POWER has manufactured a variety
of new products such as Counters, DPM's, Temperature
Indicators & Controllers, Heating Controls etc. Through
our team comprising of engineers, PCB assemblers, wiremen,
Fitters & efficient staff members, we have been delivering
the consistent product of good quality standard backed by
prompt after sales service to our customers' delight.
In
manufacturing plants where many AC induction motors are being
used, increasingly higher level of automation, labour saving
measures with energy conservation have become a default
requirement.
AC
Speed Control equipment which is now
in spot light, best answers these requirements. Keeping in step with the new technology we at AUTO POWER have
collaborated with Meidensha Corporation, Japan (An ISO 9001
Company) to pump their century of experience into India with
their high-tech product Thyfrec Series Inverter Drives
(Variable Frequency AC Drives). AUTO POWER guarantees the payback within a year and a
half
which may vary slightly with respect to the
application. Also Meidensha Corp. are the pioneers in
introducing Traverse Pattern feature for AC Drives which is
applicable to Spinning Systems thus making it an important
choice for the Textile industries.

Auto
Power has been associated with Meidensha Corporation since
December 1997 when it was given the status of Authorised
Distributors for INDIA.
Auto Power imported the 1st lot of inverters in
Feb’98. By way of an intelligent marketing plan, the sale of
these inverters took no time. There was no looking back
thereafter. Till date Auto Power has done a business of
40,000 US$ with Meidensha Corporation.
To make its presence felt in the Indian subcontinent, Auto
Power took part in the “Indpack’98” Exhibition’ in
Mumbai, a commercial capital of India. Auto Power made its
presence felt in Africa when it took part in
“Indiatech’98” Exhibition in Nairobi, Kenya. It is the
result of the successes in the above
exhibitions that has prompted Auto Power to take part
in “Plastivision’98” and “Elecrama’99” exhibitions
with Meidensha products.
Auto Power made an achievement when 8 slip-ring outdated motor
controllers were replaced by Meidensha inverters in an oil
industry. The same was achieved in stone crushing plant as
well. Meidensha inverters has also made a breakthrough in
providing control for fans, blowers and pumps which were
otherwise running on direct supply. This was possible after
proving to the industry the benefits of energy saving with
Meidensha inverters.
Meidensha Corporation was very satisfied by our performance
and has started concentrating more towards Indian Market,
sensing its potential. Its senior executives have visited Auto
Power twice to provide as much assistance and support to
promote their products.
